What is the cost per session?

Footprints is in-network with multiple insurance plans, so most clients pay only a small co-pay. For those paying out of pocket: Individual $95, Couples/Family Therapy $125, Group $125.

How do I start seeing a therapist?

The first step is calling in to complete an intake form with one of our coordinators, either over the phone or by email. Once the intake form is completed, we send documents to fill out through our client portal. You'll be paired with a provider once that is completed.

I signed up, how long will it take to be matched with a therapist?

After your intake is completed and your documents are submitted through our secured client portal, it typically takes 1-2 weeks to be paired with a provider, based on your availability and preferences.

How long is the intake process?

The intake process takes about 5 minutes to complete. For couples or family therapy, it can take up to 10-15 minutes.

Am I allowed to switch to another therapist?

Yes. We recommend trying your paired provider for at least 3 sessions, since the first is intake and the next two are for getting to know each other. If it isn't a mutual fit after 3 sessions, you'll be reassigned, which can take 1-2 weeks based on availability and preferences.

When will in-person sessions be offered?

In-person sessions are offered at our location at 3249 Kingsbridge Ave, Bronx, NY, 10463.
