Frequently asked questions

Answers to what families managing ADHD ask us most.
Do I need a formal diagnosis before starting ADHD counseling?

No  you can start therapy with or without a formal diagnosis. If needed, we can also help coordinate a diagnostic evaluation.

We work with all ages, from young children through adults, with age-appropriate approaches for each.

We don’t prescribe or manage medication. If a medication evaluation could help, we can refer you to a physician or psychiatric provider and coordinate with them. Medication is never required to start therapy.
