Mental Health Counseling - Limited Permit

Mental Health Counseling-Limited Permit (MHC-LP & LAC) Work towards your licensure! 

Are you a Limited Permit Holder (MHC-LP) working towards mental health licensure in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Florida? This role provides clinical support in a positive work environment while allowing you to work with diverse populations.  

(MHC-LP & LACs are considered Pre-licenses)  

We are licensed in NY, NJ, FL, or CT, and it is required to hold an MHC-LP or LMHC in one of these states.  

Responsibilities:  

- Maintain confidentiality of records related to the client’s treatment  

- Encourage clients to express their feelings and discuss their life experiences, helping them develop insight into themselves or their relationships.  

- Collect information about clients through interviews, observation, or tests.  

- Counsel clients or patients, individually or in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making changes.  

- Perform crisis interventions with clients.  

- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.  

- Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition by reviewing client information.  

- Assess the effectiveness of counseling programs on clients' progress in resolving identified problems and moving towards defined objectives.  

We are especially seeking someone who is/has:  

- Bilingual  

- Weekend and evening availability  

- Interest in Children/Couple/Family sessions  

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time  

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour  

$40 per (Individual Session) / $45 per (Couple Sessions) - NOT HOUR!
